pook's 300 gallon money pit

A good friend told me about this site and what better way to introduce myself than telling everyone a little about my tank I've been in this addicting and money squandering hobby for many years now. There have been many ups and downs, not unlike most of you out there. Many a lesson has been learned from others who share my passion and my own mistakes.

Anyways, my current system consists of a 300 gallon acrylic tank (72"x36"x27"), a 100 gallon sump, and a 45 gallon prop tank tied into the sump. It'll be 5 years old this coming August. The equipment list is your typical stuff but it has really evolved over the years. I am currently trying to mix some LEDs into the MH/T5/VHO lighting scheme that has been on the tank since it's birth. I am sure I will go into more details on all the tank spec down the road but enough writing for now. Here are some pix of the system starting from it's infancy. Hope you enjoy!!! ;D

Thanks. There is always a reason to hang out in the garage ;D Not all are past guests of the tank. Some of them are still there today.

Hey Pook (and fellow SoCal)! I've lurked on your thread over at RC, and have to say it's one of my favorites over there. Glad to see you migrated this way as well. I look forward to seeing future progress!
