Thanks everyone. And yes, just like reefing, the right equipment will help. But also like reefing, learning how to use the equipment properly goes a long way. It takes a lot of patience and practice.

 

And who might this little guy be?....... Loverly specimen.

 

That's a Cirrhilabrus laboutei terminal male fairy wrasse and he was not a "little" guy by any means when it comes to fairies. He was about 5" in those shots but met an untimely end about a year later Except for the rhomboid and lineatus, my current fairies tend to be on the smaller side.

 

Going through these photos really reminds me how much I missed my anglers They were so much fun to watch with such neat personalities. The only hard part was having to feed live ghost shrimp or guppies but watching the hunt made up for the hassle.

 

I am so jealous that I can not set up a 300 gallon tank now just looking at all of the gorgeous fish you had in it.
