Poor snail ... what's he carrying?

    Talk about hitchikers - he looks like he has about 100 of them!

    It's a coral of some kind, but the polyps are reeeealy teeny. Hard to photograph. I could pull him out of the tank for a better pic I suppose ...

    Maybe I should ask the snail to please stay high in the tank, in the best light/flow areas so his hitchhikers will grow?;D

    That is fantastic!!! I've found myself browsing the LFS snail and hermit tanks for shells with cool add-ons, LOL!!

    My LFS pays too much attention to snails as well :( You hope they overlook some when you buy rock there, but they don't. They pluck them alllll off. Sad days. :D

    Thats lame. If I ran a fish store (which I may one day) I would leave the hitch hiker corals on the rocks. If I got free corals with my rock from one store and none from the others I would buy all my rock there.
