    yes b4 the bubble trap in the skimmer chamber also i would to get water from the display tank str8 to the refugium maybe add a ball valve and t off the main drain to the fuge

    Ok I just got done revamping the sump and replacing plastic baffels with glass ones (thanks to an old tank). Figured I would share some pics.

    I seperated the baffles a little more and they trap air better now than before.



    Here is a pic of my xenia. Worried it might not make it.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Looks good.

    I would not be the least surprised if the xenia died back a little and came right back. I can not kill that stuff, unfortunately. My tank set for 3 months without light, or water changes and it's still alive today.

    well i did a complete water test for the first time since October of 2010. those of you following along know that i neglected my tank over hunting season and now i have a little mess to fix. so here are the results.

    gravity 1.023
    temp 80 degrees
    PH 8.4
    ammonia 0
    nitrite 0
    nitrate 0
    phos 0.25
    calcium 360
    kh 179
    mag. 1160



    all i have are softies ---kenna tree, xenia, couple green mushrooms, and a toadstool leather

    will the result do for now or do i need to adjust anything. next water change is'nt do till June 12.

    Time for another update. Finaly found a lfs close and with very good prices. So I thought I share some new and ask for some ID at the same time.

    First are some zoas -- not sure what kind they are

    I've always seen the first ones called eagle eyes also.The gsp looks great,always been one of my favorites,if you put a little more flow on it,it will extend it's polyps farther and make it look much fuller and it'll help it spread faster too,although some people regret doing that :)
