popping up from the sand

    Just looked behind a rock and found these little guys.Can I dig them out and put them on a rock.

    looks kinda like zoa's to me, I guess you could, if they were mine I'd probably leave them and see if they spread on the sand...

    I have a couple like that. was wondering if I should put them on a big rock myself. I think I will, beleive they have a better chance of spreading and being undisturbed that way. My hermits are all over the sand. not that they dont crawl on the rocks :)

    almost looks like a green button polyp if you put it on a rock and it sits there for some time it will attach and reproduce. good luck

    Yes, I would try and place them where you want them. Polyps and Zoas grow really well. I dont let anything grow all willy-nilly in my tank. Just my opinion.
