My first emerald crab picked at one of my favorite zoa frags and ended up killing it. I was really mad but kept him anyway. Then I picked up a pink candy cane frag and he decided to destroy it. I almost killed him, but then realized he still had some monetary value. So I traded him in and got a tiny emerald to take his place. So far so good with the new one. I would say get rid of it. I got a rogue crab and even though he was well fed he still turned on my corals. For the record I saw him do it. It wasnt just that I assumed it was him. Clams are pretty pricey so I wouldnt risk its well being.

Emerald crabs are also a hit or miss. If you want to keep both, try feeding the crab a silver side or something equivalent to keep him off the clam. Not a 100%, but its better than nothing.
