Not sure how to insert pictures sorry.

Found a hitchhiker. Moves like a slug, has two antennae. Looks green but that may just be algae. What are we looking at. Is it Safe?

    Thanks.

EDIT: I got a better look at it.

Appears to be just a snail. An ID would still be appreciated.

    Hello clifgrmi24:

The critter is still a little hard to see in the second picture. However, it closely resembles a Stomatella snail. I say this because of the long antennae and tail, as well as the almost non-present shell.

If you could take a clearer photograph of the critter, perhaps at night (for Stomatella are usually nocturnal, unless no immediate predators are in the tank) it would make it much easier to identify. (^_^)v

    Sincerely,

    Diana:)

P.S. I am including a picture from the web of a Stomatella snail to help you identify the creature as well.

It is indeed a Stomatella, a good guy.

Thanks for the replies. It is definitely a stomatella, looks exactly like the picture Diana posted. The first time I saw it I didn't notice the shell or probiscus so it freaked me out a bit.

    Also thanks for the welcome.
