What do you guys think of these lights?
Aquarium Lighting & LED Lights: ecoxotic Stunner LED Strip

    I have MH right now and supplement with 4 - 55w PC's. I am thinking of changing the 4 - 55w PC's to 4 of these strips. 2 actinic(453nm Blue (Mfg# 8010), and 2 daytime (8,000°K White/453nm Blue (Mfg# 8011)

Do you think its a wise move?
Do you think these lights are better than what I have now?
Is it worth it? I am getting close to changing my PC bulbs and for the cost of these I can almost come out even.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Everything is doing good....just been looking to change the PC's to something different....I am not too fond of them and figured if I had to change the bulbs....the cost of a new LED thing like the one I posted might make sense if its better or comparable.

I was actually going to buy those exact strips, 2 of the 453nm ones. I had recently done some work on my motorcycle with LED's and realized I can buy 470nm blue led's for waaayyy cheaper and its pretty much the same thing. $14 for a one foot strip as opposed to $45... just a suggestion. Waterproof Ribbon LED Strips

Not sure what color the white ones are that they have, or the bright white...

If your MH bulb is 14K or lower go with all blue LED's.

i have 12 Cree 465nm 3w leds for actinic supplementation on my new 93g reef. the halide is a 250w ushio 14k (which has a cct of about 10k) and the mix is a gorgeous color, however the LEDs do an amazing job of coloring up corals in a way i have never seen before!
check out my build thread, ill update with some coral pics with right now

I just replaced my 8 39W T5s with 2 of the Panorama LED Module made by the same manufacture. Results have been great Colour temp is great, reminds me of my old Actinic bulbs I had with my VHO set up. I'm amazed at the light output. I haven't done PAR tests but I'm not concerned as I also run 3X 400W MH and everything is doing really well.
I would have gone with the Stunners but they are 2 small for my 400G tank

What do you guys think about using the LED strips from digikits.com?

They are way cheaper, do you think it will give the same results as the stunners?
