    A little history

About 2 months back I had a issue with my dkh, where it drop to about 4. As a result of that my LTA was bleached along with a few of my other coral, I lost a nice patch of Pom Pom and all my snails, its back up to 10 now. About 2 week later I got some more snail( Margarita) and they all died again.

    Present day

I got 12 snails (margarita) two day ago and about 5 of them are turn over on their back, not dead, just flipped over and not even trying to flip back. I know that how it starts. Any idea on what it could be?

    1. There is no copper in the water.
    2. I don’t have a probe. (I don’t think this is the issue because my LTA opens up with no problem but i can be wrong)
    3. I have no crab or any other visitor that could be taking them out
    4. am not using a heater

why are you not using a heater? Heaters are very important to keep the temp consistent. Major temp swings could easily kill snails. get back to us with the tank Q&A.....just answer what you can.

Low Dkh will not typically kill inverts. There must be another cause. If you could list your current water Parameters we may have a beter understadning of what is going on
