Hey all, so I've been thinking about better placement for my tank, one of the woes that would've made me take this slower, but basically I would like to move the tank 6 inches to a foot down the wall it currently is on( actually shouldn't be that hard) uploadfromtaptalk1349052216036.jpg then I would like to move it back tight against the wall and have all the equipment in a closet that is directly behind that wall uploadfromtaptalk1349052239743.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1349052256663.jpg (like to make it as quiet as possible) and where my sump is right now make a couple shelves and maybe have a 20g frag uploadfromtaptalk1349052339749.jpg I think it would be a nice location :) what do you all think?

makes sense to me give your more room for sure, then you could get a bigger sump

The alternative was to make a bigger sump that would fit that hole snugly next year out of acrylic

I would go for more room to work than to pack it in there, im not a small dude either.

this is exactly why i went with a smaller sump is so I had more room to work

I got my sump custom made to take up all the space under my stand. Works a wonder.

if you have kids or animals the closet keeps the people/critter out of the stand to, and you get more room to utilize equipment

dont get me wrong there is nothing wrong with filling up the space underneith the main tank, I am really clumsy and like to move around when I work on the tank.

But the hopeful idea is to put it in the closet!
