I have a few squareback anthias in my 125 that are huge! I'm going to moving them to the 220, other thing is they eat 3 times a day, and are messy eaters.

Should I transfer all at once. After they go all that's left is an orange back wrasse 2 firefish and a chromis

I haven't decided what other fish are going in. This tank is predominately Lps with a few mushrooms and zoas

A decrease in bioload shouldn't affect anything. The only thing is that if you don't replace them with something else then your short term capacity will drop.

    +1

You might, however, be in danger of increasing the bio-load too quickly and causing an ammonia spike in the 220 by adding all of them at once.

Didn't think about that.... How would you suggest I transition them in?

With a tank that size, you might be ok with 2 at a time; just wait a week in between and keep a close eye on your ammonia. Safest would probably be 1 at a time though, given their size and feeding habits.

Should I move the females first?

What's your current bioload in the 220?

Then definitely move them slowly. If you had a larger bioload then it could absorb more without as big of a spike.
