so i would like to get a purple nudibranch, now i know that they eat sponges. and i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to a sponge just so the nudi can eat it. is it going to mess with my parmenters? other question is, what kind of sponge cause i am pretty sure that it only eats a couple of speices. is this just a terriable idea?

Not a "terrible idea" at all. Just do some research to learn living needs and make sure your tank meets specific requirements.

    Is a very pretty animal.

    (albiet, reported difficult to keep)

Probably not recommended for a newer tank.

    Good Luck!
