I have a question about filtering.

My biggest issue is I think too much! What would be the issue with putting a filter housing on the return line from the sump with say a 25 micron paper filter in it? Just to polish the water and catch any stray micro bubbles, before entering the tank.

    Thoughts and Concerns welcome.

It will clog constantly. I took the 200 micron sock off my tank because of this. I can't imagine a 25 micron. Don't go too crazy with the mechanical filtration. I honestly believe it helped my system to remove it completely. If you are having issues with micro bubbles a 200 micron sock is the way to go just be prepared to clean it at least once a week. Good luck.

mine does not even make it once a week I change it every 2-3 days :) Wish I could find a 500 micron or something like that. Was gonna try the mesh ones from BRS cuz the felt ones seem to get plugged faster
