Right there with you man. My daughter just turned 2 in April and were trying to potty train. She really has no interest though. She will go in the potty when we ask her and take her in there but if I don't follow through every hour or sooner she goes in we diaper. It's tough but I think it sounds like your doing a great job and he is almost there. Good job man.
    Keep up the good work.

OMG, this potty training stuff its for the birds. My son will go in the potty and the go in his pull up 10 min later. My wife wanted me to try and put him in just his undies, and it stressed me out. He pooped in them and then got it all over the place. I want this to be over. Lol

One of the best days of my life when the last one was out of diapers. And ya sometimes you will get the nugget trail..

At 16 and 14 now I wish I could turn the clock back about 7 years...

Almost a month in and we are doing great.. Asher now tells us when he needs to potty. He is still unsure about pooping in the potty and seems to hold it more, but he has not had a dirty pull-up or wet underwear in 2 or 3 days. We are starting to get over the hump, or so it seems..

I have heard that girls are easier to potty train than boys, but I have no proof or experience in this, but good luck. The best advice I can give is, be patient and don't get too worked up when she has accidents, there will be plenty of them. Also you should go at her pace and not yours, she will let you know when she is ready.

By American standard 2 is early. My daughter is 2.5 and we're still working on it. Nowhere near your level of success. Congrats, I am jealous.

But, I am originally from Latvia. Back in Europe most kids are potty trained by about 1 year old. If both parents work, daycare for kids above 1y old does not take kids who are not potty trained. That's how it was when I was a kid. And most parents are just used to potty training theirs early.

I thought he would never start telling us. But now he has to go every 15 minutes. Lol
