Hello, heading later to pick up my last tang . Can't decide between the powder blue and Gold rim? I have a large Regal blue (7''), Kole ( 4'') Sail fin (4'') and a Flame angle(4'') I also have other smaller fish that wont affect the tangs.
    With a 210g tank that's 7ft long there's lots of swimming room!

Any comments from ppl with experience? Oh Sail fin went in two days ago. Hoping to get the new tang in today or tomorrow before the sail fin picks it's territory.
    Thanks

I had a powder blue that killed 3 fish in 4 days in a 100g. I doubt ill ever get one again despite their beauty.

+1 on the PBT being pretty aggresive as it grows. You do have a lot of Tangs in there so depending on size is may work, but their nature is fairly aggresive IMO from experience with mine.

i don't know much about the gold rim but the pb can be agressive like these guys said. i would definitely make sure that it was smaller than the other tangs in the tank. mine is half the size of my desjardini but twice as agressive. even the desjardini will get out of the way if the pb is in a fighting mood. i would also want it to be the last fish. my pb doesn't bother any of my current fish (except the other tang) but if i add a fish, he goes for blood. i mean that he doesn't just chase, he tries to kill.....other than that, one of the most beautiful fish out there imo.

Thanks for the input ! I decided to go with the Gold rim and do a 3 to 4 inch . Phoned a head and made the 1.5 hr drive. . . Turns out they were sold out days ago? Not sure what she was looking at today? Oh well I'll keep hunting ! I've been told the sail fin would be above average in aggression towards the Kole tang? Similar body i guess. They appear to be buddies . Hope that doesn't change !

Does anyone have any other suggestions based on the few Tangs I have now and that the tank is 7ft (210g)? Thanks again

Clown tangs are one of the prettiest tangs IMO but i think 210 might be pushing it for size as clowns get pretty big. some other pretty ones would be a purple tang, Powder brown, or achilles.

I haven't seen a clown tang, are they rare?? Hope my sailfin doesn't end up eating my corals ! So far so good. The gold rims didn't look good so I waited. Great advice on the feeding. . . .Today I picked up a powder blue and had them feed it before purchasing . It eat like a pig and two hrs in my setup it's picking at rocks and bits of food !
