powder blue tang

    ok will this get along with my yellow tang, and blue tang (pacific like dori!!!)

    i feed them flake food and always have nori on a clip for them,

    what else is needed?

    They are primarilly vegetable eaters, so seaweed, algae, etc. are ideal. However, it is adviseable to offer mysis shrimp, clam, squid and other proteinaceous foods as well for bulk and nutritional requirements!
    Variety is the best...
    Those three species of Tangs will have a better chance of getting along since they are different species of Tangs!!!! The problem arises when you try to purchase similar body type Tangs! Ie, Yellow, Purple, Sailfin and/ or Scopas, or two Powder Blues or Powder Browns for the most part!

    Sorry, clam meaning chopped clam that is sold frozen in cube or flat frozen pack!!!! That would be an expensive food using Tridacna clams as food, plus you are safe with having Tridacna clams(live) coexisting with Tangs!

    A Hippo tang will be a great addition to your tank. I tried the two species of tangs as I put a Powder Brown in after my Powder Blue and the blue picked the brown to death in less then a week. :(

    aw mayne that would irritate me, the powder browns are beautiful i think, idk why some people dont think they are though.

    ok, so did some 4 or 5 hours more reasearch on the fish last night and have 2 new additions today :) will take pics soon.
