I have kept a powder blue tang in a 92 gallon corner reef for a few years now. I find the key to keeping them fat and aggression down is to always have macro algae available for grazing. It is not cheap to keep this tang but if you can afford a constant supply of fresh Red Graciliara, you can keep this tang.

PBD are an amazing fish. I loved mine. I had a 135g and it was a 6' long tank and he made that tank look tiny.

IMO a 100g is the bare minimum for that tang, let alone adding another Tang. But again just my opinion :)

    carry on.

Same here on those powder blues. they are very very high strung and need alot of room. they also need tank mates they necessarily cannot bully around. I have a 180 and have always wanted a blue, but most likely I will go back with a powder brown. they are awesome looking fish and are much easier to deal with. I am not the tang police and have successfuly kept a powder brown, a purple and a tomini tang in my 75. they all lived well together after the first week or so. the tomini was beat up pretty good by the brown, but did well and ended up being the fatest fish in the tank when I sold them. I dearly wish for those 3 fish back. it broke my heart to sell them.

I too have a PBT. He' is a very good, healthy and well behaved fish. I love all tangs, they are my favorites. My aquarium is a 165g and I have about 13 fish in there 6 being Tangs. There is the powder Blue (Not aggressive at all but very active.), Yellow tang, Purple tang (The mob boss of the tank these days), Kole tang, Naso Tang,Clown Tang (This is my favorite tang. They are beautiful but hard to keep. Mine is a baby only 1.5") I feed my fish twice a day. I feel it keeps them fat and happy, therefor not picking on each other. I usually mix up their meals too. But always feed meats and greens. MY tank is a fish only. If you have a lot of swimming room I think you could have a PBT in a 100g. Just gotta take care of the fish and their water. Good luck.

Keep the lights off in your tank and as dim as possible in the room when acclimating. Just close the blinds... I was told this from a fish shop and in my limited experience it helps. I only have one Tang in my tank. He will get big enough by his self, not enough room for two with my puffer.

Just my thoughts, hope it helps.
