he has small spots above left eye only. now he looks like he is getting some just beside left gill. i read that this normally affects both sides but it seams so far to only be on left side. water is quality check is perfect. all my other fish are great. he feeds good(new life spectrum food). fins look great, color is great. i read that this is caused by stress. the only thing i can think of is i was leaving my lights on too long??? maybe?? i know they like to hide. i hav a powder brown tang that he gets along with great. 125 gallon tank. the blue hippo tang and two clowns are very small, the powder brown and powder blue are same size and were introduced to tank at same time. plenty of hiding places but they just swim back and forth all the time. i would love to think this is going to go away on its own, but i want to know is there anything i should be treating the water with?? i was only feeding them once a day, i increased that because i read that they like to be fead smaller amount more times a day. please help!!!1

If you are sure its HLLE, Soak your foods in a Vitamin c solution you can buy at the LFS or Online, Worked wonders for my Old achilles that got HLLE fixed it right up in less then a months time.

not 100% sure that is what it is, i read that hlle usually is on both sides not just one, but i have know clue what it would be if its not. it is definatly not ich, i first thought it was just some a scrape that he got from zooming around the tank so fast in and out of the live rock. would the vitamin C hurt them if its not?

nori is always a good idea when you have tangs. I take a half sheet, roll it up, and rubber band it to a rock 4-5 times a week for mine and they go bonkers for it. on top of that frozen spirulina brine and mysis shrimp would be a great addition, especially if your soaking in selcon or something similar. just keep the diet varied and nori abundant and he should be fine.
