Powder blue's aren't difficult to keep at all. They readily feed on dried algea strips. There very prone to ich as may tangs are. But that said I don't think they're anymore prone than powder browns, hippo and naso tangs. If your water is good and they're eating you'll be fine. Mine is a algea eating machine.

Your best bet would be to order from live aquaria to get one from maldives. You will pay a premium but you will also have the peace of mind of knowing you have a great chance at getting your powder blue to survive.

IMO a 125 is too small long term. Even tho powder blues only get 10" or so they are super aggressive and have huuuuge territories in the wild. Most of the success stories I hear with these tangs involve very mature and stable 8' tanks. I tried keeping on of these in my 125 and soon realized it was just too small. Believe whom ever you want, I personally tried a blue in my 125 and ended up with a failure. I HIGHLY recommend you look into a powder brown instead.
