I have a powder blue in my 55g QT, He was being a bully so I had to remove him from the equation. He came down with ick really bad once, but ever since then hes been crystal clear and a deep blue... He loves his Nori and Oceans Nutrition reef flakes, however not so big of a fan with the brine/mysis

I might try one again when I upgrade to a 240, but only after its been established for over a year. If you want a better chance of a success with one, everything I have read says the ones collected from maldives are by far healthier and generally adapt to captivity better.

I don't think I knew they were agressive wow. Right now I have a hippo and a Tamini Tang.. Do you think either of those tangs would have an issue.. I'm questioning as I think the body shape may be the same or close between the powder blue and the hippo.

My powder blue picked on my Magnificent Foxface fish and FlameFire Fish, He left my chevron and hippo tang alone.. However they are just over an inch and the powder blue was 2.5 at the time.

He gave my foxface a good slash on his side, Healed up fast though :)

Recently purchased a beautiful one and about a week later I noticed he started having ick indications. I treated with hyposalinity, garlic mysis and 81 degree water but still ended up wiping out most of my fish.

They are beautiful, but I now have a deep hatred for them!

I do not have one, but wanted one and did a lot of research on them. They should be the last fish added to the tank as they are VERY aggressive and most tangs are ich magnets.
