I don't like the idea of them picking off the weakest. I have admit that if the tang is not overly aggressive I will probably go with it.

I have a Powder Brown Tang--He was my first Bigger Saltwater fish. I don't know what you mean by Nasty. Mine is very healthy, has been from day 1 (Had him about 4 mo) He is by far the best eater in the tank and the most active as far as swimming. He has come to where when I place lettuce in the clip, he will try to pull it out of my hand while I am attaching the clip--He gets along fine with my yellow and blue regal tangs and with everyone else. I highly recommend this fish. It is the closest thing to a Naso Tang which I could not afford at the time. I highly recommend 2 skunk (Cleaner Shrimp) to prevent parasites. all the Tangs go to the "Shrimp Wash" frequently. The only thing that would be a negative is your tank size. This breed is a voracious swimmer. The bigger the tank the better. Do your research

I've done endless research on this fish. Being one of the smallest Acanthurus tangs and one of the smaller tangs in general, I think he could survive happily in my tank for a long time-probably life long. All sources say one would be. I'm seriously leaning towards this fish, but I'm still open to other opinions or ideas.

I have both powder brown and four chromis in my tank.

I like the powder brown the best. He is my favorite fish in the tank. He did have a bad bout with Ich though. He eats like a pig though.

The chromis are great and all but they don't hold a candle to the powder brown.
