The stock list looks fine. How big is the tank is the more important question here.

Make sure you have loads of flow too, after failing to keep one long term in a 125, I personally wouldn't try one in anything under a 180 with very high flow. The one I had for like 5-6 months was very active and aggressive, it eventually developed what looked like brooknella (sp?) in clowns and withered away.

I'm sure others have had success in smaller tanks, I'm just going off personal experience.

I recomend a uv sterilizer if you are going to get tangs.I would have it up and running at least a week before you get any.If you plan on getting more than one tang get them at the same time.

thats one thing i dont get...Ich comes from parasite in the water that attaches to its host burries in the skin and reporduces...ect i thought the life cycle of Ich was very short like a day or two depending on water temp(if it has no host). So now i've had my tank for over a year right....No ich ever on any fish. assuming i get a brown tang and it's healthy ( no ich) and i aclimate it and land it and it develops ich, Where does it come from??

Maybe your tank had ich all along, but all your fish were healthy enough to fight it off on their own, now with the new tang (no scales = VERY easily infested with ich) the ich has a better host to thrive off.
