I think people should see the behavior of a tang in a big tank. They are so much better eaters and swim so much more and overall seem "happier" (if a fish can be happy)

This is just my personal opinion based on the fish I have owned.

I moved a blue tang from a 36'' tank to a 72'' tank and the difference in him was apparent overnight.

plus one, it is way healthier when they can swim without much interruption. small tanks just cant provide this.

I had one in my 75 with a pruple and a tomini. all did very well. most of your browns come in small. they are very hyper fish and while I did it dont necessarily make it right. as for being hard to keep. NAWWWW! mine once got sucked in to the overflow and survived me pulling him out. lost a fin and we thought he was a gonner, but he lived a few more years and came back to perfect health.

they are Great fish in my opinion and pretty well mannered. not near as agressive as a powder blue...

Just judging by my powder blue, i wouldn't put one in a tank much smaller than mine (135g). Plus, like Pickupman said, they can be aggressive. i wouldn't want to be the rest of the fish in a tiny tank with a frustrated PB. when mine gets in a mood, the rest of the fish go find a hiding spot. This includes my Desjardini which is twice the size of the PB. However, most of the time it is well behaved......most of the time.
