I have Maxi-jet 1200, 2003 Submersible(from the Jebo P.S.) and an old smaller one(from Via-Aqua P.S.) What modifications do I need to make to mount them on the outside. I understand I need to cut the glass. Can these be run on the outside or are there different ones to use? Anyone with pics, that would be great! Thanks!!!! ;D

If there is confusion..... I'll explain more. I want to get my power heads out of my 55gal. They take up a lot of needed room. How do I install them to where there is water shooting from the tank and back to the tank without them being in the tank? Is this possible? I see in the bigger tanks they don't have a bunch of ph's sticking to the sides.. how is this done? Am I confused?? If anyone has done this and has pics, please post some so I can see how it was done... Thanks!! :)

could be wrong but i think the larger tanks get there water flow from there filter under the tank itself so there is no need for power heads thats the way alot of the display tanks ive seen have had it setup the only thing in th tank its self was the overflow box and the return tube from the filter itself.
dunno if this helps at all buts ats an idea if nothing else

If you are just wanting to move water around then put one of these in and pipe it to all four corners. Some people think they are a tad salty but they are a real nice addition to the tank. No PH's and no cords hanging down in the tank.;D

Otty...Yep that's what I'm looking for. Will have to wait though, until the shock of purchasing the remora and other stuff to correct tank, wears off on my hubby lol ;D
