I am more then sure this question has been asked already somewhere but I can't find it. I have a 75gal that I am buying items for before I set things up. I had a question about the Ecotech Marine VorTech MP40w ES ECOSMART Wavemaker Pump. I know they are costly units and highly rated but, could one of these units move enough water for a 75gal alone? Or would I still need additional 1 or 2 power heads along with this one?

I am going slow getting items as money opens up so I am starting a wish list. I have a order in with lifereef.com for complete sump kit and looking for a light and good quiet overflow.

Would you place that on one side obviously but, I wonder if it should be centered or placed near the rear of the tank? I am saving now but, I other things come faster I will just get 2 of another brand until I get that one.

I would look at two MP10s, will have more control over positioning, less dead spots.

About the overflow, if you decided to go U-Tube style, I'd say get that from LifeReef too.
