Maxi jet 1200 are good and quiet. On my 55 I have three. One on the right one on the left and one on the back. I also suggest a natural wave maker also they will go on and off to get good circulation in there.

Alot of what you will need will depend on how your rocks are out in there. I would say you'll need 2 or 3 (one in each corner that does not have a return). I can't speak for the reef part of it as far as the size, some corals need different flows, but getting started you'd be fine with the Maxijet 600 or so. Just see where things are settling and then adjust where you have them pointed to stir this up.

I love my koralias. They make a great motion in the water. They are the only powerheads I will use anymore. And they look cooler than the maxijets.

Id go with at least 2 maxijet 1200's they are rated at 295gph. If it were me id get 2 tunze nanostream 6025's.

vortech's are arguably the best PH's on the market but they have integrated wavemakers that are very high end so the price is a little deceiving, yeah their pricey but you get what you pay for, koralia's are great esspecially for the money, Maxi-jets are good esspecially if you want to use a cheaper wavemaker

I recommend the Koralia's as well. A general rule of thumb is you want at LEAST 20x turnover rate (55galx20=1100gph). Also, multiple smaller powerheads are better than a single larger one. I would go with 2 or 3 of the Koralia 2's. I recently made the mistake of not having a good enough flow, and just added 2 of the Koralia 1's to my 40 gal. They are incredibley easy to set up and work great. I will probably be adding another one.
