Power loss?

meh, some fire at a substation in southwest dade is the last story I heard. But they said it was human error that caused it.

I am new to this forum and have been doing a lot of reading to catch up. Wow great forum!!! I use an APC Smart-UPS 1500 on my tank for the power head and the heater. About how long would anyone speculate you have to get power back to the tank before disaster strikes?? I'm talking everything shut off. How much money do you get into setting up these battery backups?

 

I have on a APC 1500va ups, 1x PH (maxi-jet 1200) return pump (mag 9.5), skimmer and heater on the 58g, the nano i have the entire thing on the APC, we do have a generator to at both locations where the tanks are, the apc's are just to keep the tank running until i get the cords ran into the house and fire the genny's up
