If any of you are from the north east right now you might be experiencing this storm too. Its hailing, thundering, lightning, and very windy. I'm afraid the power is guna go out. I don't have a battery pump, I left it on my boat (i use it to keep bait alive). Is there anything i can do to keep my fish alive if the power fails?

The storm pasted my house a few hours ago, pretty nasty wind and rain. Tornadoes were seen around in West Penn.

I did this with my Oscars a few years back, when we had a two day power out. Every fifteen minutes I blew into an airline tube in the tank, I know it put CO2 into the water but a little bit of oxygen too. It seemed to help quite a bit surpassingly.

    Good Luck. Be Safe.

Even more efficient is to dip a tea pitcher into the tank, then pour it back into the tank from a high enough height that the water is disrupted a lot. That will off-gas the CO2 in the tank and Oxygenate the water.
