I live in an area were power outages are common in winter and I need to power a 112 gallon fowlr, and a 65 frag tank. I've seen a battery backup for power heads but I also need to worry about temp.,as an outage may last days, but I don't know if there is any back up system that will last a few days powering heaters, power heads, and maybe lights for corals?

Look at the Generac natural gas or LP system. A small system will run your tank plus your well pump, heater, TV, refrigerator and some lights. I don't know why you haven't done this already if you have power problems. It will come on by its self in about 20 seconds of the power going off. Well worth the investment:)

I have a generator. I bought it about four years ago and it's never come out of the box, but I'm glad I have it.
