    Lucky for you I had 4 days without power and lost some things (though some livestock were iffy to begin with) but the healthy ones survived save for the xenia and my huge anthelia colony is now just a say maybe 10 scattered stalks.

    before the generator I used a "UPS" battery back-up to run by pumps

    Nice job keeping everything alive...

    Hey Matt...where did you buy the battery powered air pump?

    I have an APC UPS hooked up to my tank to hold me a little while if the power goes out....then if its out for a long time I have a 5000w generator I can roll out if need be. I bought the generator in the spring just for peace of mind and of course havent had to use it yet!
