So what do you do in a power outage, I had one last night and was agitating the water by hand, not fun, what does everyone else do? Are there any lower cost remedies to help in situations like this?

I don't bother doing anything unless it appears that the outage may last more than a few hours. An occasional hiccup in stability can actually improve a coral's chance of surviving short-term changes.

See previous post on what to do when intervention becomes necessary. :D

Harbor freight power inverter turns my car into a generator. If you are able to run a cord to your car. Like above though. I wouldn't bother unless we are talking hours.
