I want to replace my powerbar. right now what I have plugged in is not done safely so I have decided to get one powerbar to fit all my equipment on or plug in two powerbars into one outlet if need be.

I will be receiving my new light soon. it has 4 plugs...2 on ac adaptors. plus I have my 3 powerheads, heater, and filter which need to be plugged into it as well.

now would it be better to get one of those coralife powerbars with the digital timers for the lights, plug those and a few other things in and then plug in another powerbar as well for the remaining equipment to be plugged into? Or should I just get a regular powerbar in any store that's large enough to hold it all and just add digital timers for the lights?

Unfortunatly I am in an apartment and have only one outlet to plug all my stuff to so I may need to run 2 powerbars but i wanted to know if a regular good quality powerbar would be my better way to go?

I had problems with the Coralife powerstrips.
The timer didn't always turn the light off and the contacts on the battery were bad and needed to be fixed.

I agree. I think that buying seperate timers is the way to go.

They have pretty cool features, people should chime in if they like them or not.

Well i got a regular grounded surge protected powerbar that holds nine outlets which is exactly what I need. I am just going to plug in digital timers for my lights. I prefer this to the coralife.
