Hey everyone, I would like to know what PH i should put in a 20 gal tank.

I started up my girlfriends 20 gal not to long ago. I have a fluval 402 hooked up on it but i wanted to have more water movement so i added a aqua-clear 402 that i was'nt using for my tank. BAD IDEA >:(. Its to strong it kicked up the sand like crazy. Maybe when theres a little more LR in the tank cause right now theres only about 10lbs. So i think that when we add more LR it shouldn't be as bad. But i still think its to strong.

So what brand and how many gph should i go for.

    Thanks.

    Marc.

Some rios are just loud, others crap out.
Maxijet 1200s are nice. And not as loud.

maxijet makes pumps of lower power like the MJ 600, 900's. Also check out Via Aqua pumps. Or use the smaller hagen (aquaclear) pumps. Check online at petsolutions.com, Dr's foster and smith's or thatfishplace.com.
