Powerhead magnet leaching possible?

I have a 1" thick tank and it's sooo hard to find a powerhead magnet that works on the tank, unless I wanna pay a ton for a mp60. So my question is this... I am able to stick a few koralias on my overflow box,but am concerned that overtime the magnets may leech something harmful into the tank since they would be in the overflow box water always. Is this a possibility, or am I safe to do so?

 

I'm not positive on this, and I would contact Koralia first, but I see no issue with it. To me, the outside magnet is encased in the same plastic as the inside (submerged) magnet. The magnets themselves are not different, however the casing might be...although it looks identical.

I've had my Mag 18 resting on the magnet of a Koralia inside my sump since the 150 was setup. The purpose was to alleviate vibrating noises.

 

On the koralia I just got both magnets are exactly the same, there is no inside or outside you can use either one inside or out if that makes sense. They both have the little hole in the middle for the powerhead to attach to.
