Does anyone know where i should put my powerhead(right) in the tank? So far, everywhere i put it it tends to stir alot of sand particles... anyone has any idea? This makes my tank cloudy...

Anywhere you want – the sand will settle down soon enough. Keep in mind that you will at some point need access to it for repair or replacement. If its kicking up a whole lot of sand than turn it on for several seconds and off again – you don’t want the PH to suck up crap and bust your impeller or impede its performance.

I wouldn't let it coud your tank - sounds like you have reason for using a PH, probably a dead spot. You could spawn an mini cycle if you cloud your tank with crap....(crap of course being an industry term)

I went into your profile and, like many others, you have nothing about your set up. Without knowing the size and kind of shape (bow front etc.) I can not suggest anything. Supply this info and a pic (if possible) and I would be glad to make an assessment.

The power head is currently blowing across(diagonally) the tank. should i make it straight and blow it (straight) across the tank??

what size PH is that? It may just be a bit too much. I angle my powerful ones (that create undesirable sand drifts) towards the surface, this may help. You may want to drop it another inch or so and aim it up at a passive angle towards the far surface end. Or even in a corner as such, and maybe you can get enough flow to satisfy your coral needs.

    I hope this helps

I would aim it directly across the tank (from side to side) and aim the flow up toward the surface slightly. We had the same issue with our maxijet 1200 stirring up everything. It was mounted on the back pointed at the front of the tank. We moved to one side and aimed it at the other and the extra length seemed to calm it down alot.
