I have a 65g tank with Aquaclear 70 Aqua Clear Power Head Details but I am considering upgrading because my powerhead is only 400gph.

Was thinking to go with KORALIA. Which KORALIA pump would you guys recommend for my tank or maybe 2 of them ? I have a sump with 2 bulkheads has a return pump ~800gph so how much more current do I need? I also want a powerhead that I will be able to use in a 125g tank when I upgrade a year or 2 from now.

General consensus is that return pumps are not included in turnover, or more specifically, water movement within the DT. As for PH in the DT, many feel that numerous small ones are better than fewer, stronger ones.

With fewer PH's, you can over time figure out placement more strategically to avoid low-flow areas and dead spots. This will help you avoid nuisance algal growth, cyano growth, and spots where detritus is apt to accumulate. Personally, I've found the "more units, lower GPH" to be most appropriate. I have a Vortech MP40, and three Koralias--a 2, a 3 and a 4.
