Think of it like this.. You can pick any two of the following:

    Inexpensive
    Lots of water movement
    Small in tank foot print

If it's inexpensive and moves a lot of water, it's going to be large.
If it moves a lot of water and it's small, it's going to be expensive
If it's cheap and small, it's not going to move much water.

HAHAHA! here is a funny story, I bought this low budget unit off ebay, I think it was made by sunsun! anyways! it claimed to be powerful, so i filled my kitchen sink with water and plugged it in to test it, when I lowered it in to the water, you will never guess what it did, go ahead and guess!! !! ?? ?? Nope! the impellers stopped spinning, each and everytime I placed it in water, the impellers would stop, the motor couldn't even keep them spinning in water, thats funny!

I have a 40B and runa evo 750 and mp10. I really dont need the 750 but run it anyway, just to compensate for not havine two mp10's.

Ideally i would like to have 2 of the mp10's, im just waiting for an opportunity to buy a used one locally.

I guess if i didn't want to upgrade my tank to a 90, get a stand for the 90, finish my sump/refugium, get a light for the refugium, want more Corals, getting an mp10 would be really tempting :D yea!!

With a low budget tunze is the way to go for sure. I would reccomend an mp10, just save up and buy a used one, you can get one used for like $150
