I just got home a few minutes ago and discovered my EVO Koralia 1400 was stopped COLD!
It was still plugged in. First Clue was my mushroom leather all sprung up and leaned toward what little flow comes out my Fluval 405 canister outlet. I'm going to take it apart right after I jump in the shower but for it to be stopped cold doesn't look good to me :worried:.

I just ordered a 750 today for the other side of the tank but it won't arrive til Tues. Will my coral be ok with little flow until then or should I do something to take immediate action? I think I tossed my receipt(stupid) for the powerhead and it's less than 3 months old. Just frustrated right now as I'm a noob and get anxious about everything with my tank.

Remove the impeller assembly and soak in white vinegar after taking it apart. I think you have calcium build up that stopped the impeller.

That makes sense...looking in through the impeller shield I can see a whitish residue. It probably doesn't help that I haven't cleaned it once since it's introduction and I've been dosing ALK on the heavy side the past month. Thanks 2in10,I'll try that. Off to disassembly now.

I need to do that procedure every 2 to 3 weeks with mine.

K+ 2in10 for saving my arse!! SO happy I don't have to spend money on another Powerhead-though I do plan on adding another 750 eventually.Leaves more dough for spending on corals ;). Lesson learned and I imagine I may have to do the same with my skimmer pump?

Yes anything in contact with the water that moves. You will also need to clean out lines and such periodically as the calcium builds up on them.
