I'd buy at least 1 more and put them in the rear corners facing the top front middle of the tank. Personally I'd buy 2 hydor koralia 500's at least if not 750's.

But for that i'd place in the rear middle about half way down facing the front top middle. You want some good surface agitation for the oxygen exchange, IMO

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You will play with it endlessly especially when you start to stock with corals.

Personally I like it bouncing off the walls and creating a circular flow, this is the reason I think adding another power head would be a good idea.

I believe a lot surface agitation is important. Promotes gas exchange and helps to maintain a higher pH.

To accomplish all this you often need more than one power head.

Just what you wanted to hear right? Spend more money. LOL

I have a 46gal bowfront and have a 750gph PH in the right corner, a 425gph in the left corner, and a 425 halfway down the back facing up much like coralline suggest. Works well for me

So should I move this power head to a different spot?

I'd do as I suggested and move it to the rear middle of the tank, half way down, facing the top middle of the tank so it creates some surface agitation, IMO

oh, no, thats just for the one you have, when you get the next powerhead, put them in the rear right and left corners, about half way down facing the top front middle of the tank. imagine a bullseye near the front middle top waterline of your tank, and aim both them at that, should create a decent water flow pattern without direct hitting anything;)

Should I get a more powerful powerhead or I can just get another one of what I already have?
