I have a return pump of about 250gph. I also have a Hydor 425 in the opposite corner. My plan is to get another 425 directly across from the current one.

I want to get some flow behind my live rock and that's where I need some direction. I thought about adding a Hydor 240, then a 425, then maybe two 240s on opposite ends. Then I have to consider what will happend when I add a wavemaker down the road. Any suggestions?

Try you best to keep your footprint down. Less in the tank is more, also easier on the electric bill. I would try to get away with one or two large powerheads at the most!

OK--the two on the back wall will actually still be on the side but way in the corner. Have to decide if I want the same flow as the front or a little less.
