Powerheads Placement?

    Thanks for the info. Pretty much same as how I have mine set up. Same depth in tank and W1 setting, but I have mine offset a bit. One towards the front of my tank and the other is towards the back of the tank. I also noticed (I haven't mounted the controllers yet) when I lay controller down the settings change? Then I put controller upright and they switch back...

    I don't have thosre light sensors, my WP 40's stay on W2- 24/7

    I just got home from work and I noticed they are both on the "H" setting and now on the lowest power. Is this the night setting taking place since it's dark out?

    Todd, I have what you got going on now. My power is cranked up at 90% though I'm sure if I throttle them down it will not move as much of my sandbed around. Looks the same across the back of my tank as well.

    I think I may have too much power now. I have them set on the lowest setting and if it's possible I have a bigger wave cruising through the surface of my tank. I've also noticed the few smaller fish I have ( Pj Cardinals, Banggai card) which all used to hover towards the top of my tank are now mostly hiding in my LR.
