    Hi,
I'm new to tropical aquariums, and I have just started setting up a 6x2x2foot freshwater aquarium.I have been reading/researching like crazy, and it seems the more you read, the more there is to know!!
I have a question for which I have not really been able to find an answer for -I have read that good water movement in the tank is recommended , so what I need to know is, are there any general rules for the number and size/strength of powerheads required for a freshwater aquarium - what would be good for my size tank????
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

General rule is to not have any dead spots in the tank. meaning water that is not moving. I read a web site once stating that if you take some fishing line and dangle it in the water it should move if not you would want to direct the powerhead in that direction. That's What I have done I have 3 PH and the 2 returns water moving fine. I need two more....
