I was looking at the Koralia 1400. Noticed it says it is for 90-160g. This is well over what I need. Could I go with the 1050? The 750 is actually recommended for my 55g.

I would go with two of the 1050's. I just ordered a couple for my 72 gallon tank. They are on sale right now at marinedepot for $35.99.

I have 2 Evo 750's on my 70G which is only 36" long, and I'll be replacing one of them with a 1050. The flow is sufficient for LPS but I have 2 SPS corals now and definatley want some more flow. I personally would recommend the 2x1050's for your 4ft long tank (regardless of your coral selection), I think it's the better choice IMO.

I had a feeling you would say this. Its sort of the mid-range. Good all-around.(generally)

I have two Koralia evo 750s on my 55g reef, they work great and the flow is not overwhelming for my fish or corals. IMO anything more would be too much.

lol now I'm not sure which to go with. Maybe 1x evolution 750 and 1x evolution 1050?

I think it comes down to what you really plan on keeping. With softies you could ok with one 750, but for anything more I really think you'll end up wishing you had two 1050's. Like I said, my 750's don't give quite enough on my 3ft tank...I have them angled to hit each other and make random flow in the center...but the sides of my tank are somewhat stagnant. Just my opinion:)

Well my tank is 4ft long. If 2 750's aren't enough for a 3ft tank then I should certainly go with the 1050's, as I will not only have soft corals, but some SPS like montis and I want a sponge and some anemones.
