I'm responding off the cuff here, but hopefully acro eating flatworms have the same weakness exploited by FlatwormeXit. Hopefully also you're catching it early on. If yes to both--make up some RO/DI for water change, and get it ready. Add FlatwormeXit accd'g to instructions and every last one will be dead within an hour.

I won't go on about the cautions, as box gives very fine and detailed instructions. In a nutshell, the chemical is harmless, but the toxins given off by the worms is not. The instructions tell you what to do with your skimmer, carbon, filtration system, etc. The most important thing is to dose ASAP, as their population grows quite fast, and the more worms killed, the greater the risk to the tank by using this product--but it works.

    I hope this helps.

I at least know FW can be dealt with. Not the end of the world. I did dip my new additions. I have never seen them before though so I know they are new.

I also might be jumping the gun. They are sort of long, where AEFWs are kind of like a blob. The ones I have are not a split tail, they actually have a forked tail. So I need to do some searching for a ID. Pics are out of the question. I tried.

Check this thread out, Powerman. Are these similar? I caught these with a jeweler's loupe and my camera.

No they are beige, tan, pink, light red sort of. Long skinny like a worm. Rounded head, and a forked tail. They are on my glass, as opposed to other critters that like different places. Doubt I could ever see them if they were on something else. Looked on coral but can't see any.

Well crap again. I have mold in my equipment closet. It is very arid here in Colorado. I was worried about moisture in there. So far it has not been a problem. At first it was, but I took out every thing. Then the back wall is foundation wall, so it was condensing on the wall in the Winter. Well I put some styro board up to stop that.

All Summer it was good. Now I noticed some condensation here and there. Well the other part I don't look at much... finally saw all the mold growing on the bottoms of the stairs. Crap.

Installing a vent fan is not going to be cool noise wise, not even sure where to vent it. I cut a hole in the wall to put the pipes through. I guess I will have to cut it bigger and move some air. The wife is going to kill me. She was not thrilled with me taking over the closet to begin with.
