I want to kick it. It's like a loud fan.

They will all be that way though. There aren't many selections, either. Lowes only had the Frigidaire. Home Depot had Zenith or LG. I was looking at a Haier, LG, Frigidaire, and all reviews I read indicated they are noisy.

Overstock.com has the 45 pint per day LG for $150 (refurbished) free shipping. LH459EL I think is the model number.

Damn it. Bummer. It will be loud as heck in the closet. Hopefully won't be too bad with the door closed. I do need to do something.

If it's in a closet, I wouldn't worry. It's like a very loud fan - no vibration, no humming, just the sound of lots of air getting pushed through. I am upset because I can hear mine through my entire apartment. I have about 1,000 square ft., 2 bedroom, 1 story, so I will hear it all the time. Closet, I wouldn't care too much.

    I would go buy it.

If you see mold it's a matter of time before you start to feel it. I finally put 2 and 2 together today. Difficulty breathing at times, constant sneezing and congestion, and bad allergy symptoms. Not a good situation at all. I never looked at the top of my windows. Big, thick slimy areas of mold. Water dripping from that. I have big windows and it's a large area for condensation to build up, one by my bed. Yea. It's dehumidifier time.

Cool thanks. My MIL has COPD and sleeps down stairs. Probably not cool.

By the way, the air coming out is hot. It will definitely heat your closet. It will become dry and warm (hot, if you have little ventilation).

By the way, this thing performs. I just powered it down and I have about 12 ounces or more of water in the container, and it's been up less than an hour.

Well no new ones.... however, it is time for my quarterly growth update. I'll get the pics up this weekend.

Got my mini dehumidifier. I'll have to see if it will be enough.... so far I'm not so sure it is.....

Well, tank is doing well. Chemistry is stable. GFO seems to knocking what little algae I had down even more. Mini dehumidifier is working. MP40 is back in service. Fish are happy and corals are puffy. I'm pretty happy so far.

So as promised here are my quarterly growth shots.

Here is my tank in July. At least it looks like it does today with some stuff gone.

Here is my tank in October.

And here is my tank today in Jan.

I have more shots of corals. I decided I didn't want it lost in this thread, so I'm going to start a separate growth thread. I'll link when it's done.

the cave looks much better now with the growth of your corals....

One thing that Ive struggled with is the look I have in some spots of my tank. But I placed corals with a prediction on how the look in the spot will turn out. So I become in patient with the look I have in certain spots. Sometimes just need to step back with the look I have imagined with growth of corals, instead of moving things around.

Your tank is maturing nicely. k+
