Well the Green Brain and Frogspawn are gone. I traded for more frags.



The left is just some Acro, but you can see how deep purple it is. Really cool. The next in back is a Red Planet. He does not sell it as ORA, but he can't tell the difference between the two and he has ORA stuff too. The next is a Blue Digi... looks like crap now, but the guy says in the tank he bought it from it was a stunning blue. So we will see. The next in back is a Blue Cali Tort, and the one in from is a Blue Oregon Tort. Do you think I was after some blue???;D

I can't show you yet because it is all closed up, but the best one is a Blasto that is brick red and "nuclear waste" green middle. It is so awesome. Hundred bucks for about 10 heads. (Coudn't afford the whole colony.) I'll take a pic tomorrow.

So with the trades everything was $100 for some Ultra stuff.

The Harley is getting out and about mowing down Asterinas. Growing well.

Also... With my frag purchase, in the bottom of a cup I saw a baby Fan Worm. Through him in the fuge, hope he grows.

On a bad note, my Purple Plasma, my favorite frag, it STN'ing. It's the only one. Hopefully it will pull out. I love that Acro.

 

So my Blastos are just waking up, but yo uget the point. And I have 15 heads. Score





And here is my poor Purple Plasm with burnt tips. Not sure why. Does not look like it is slowing down.

With all my additions and Monti cap growing, my numbers sort of fell down. Steady at 9.6 DKH and 430.... went down to 8.7 and 400. So I got Mg up to 1400, got Cal up to 450 over three days, and all it took was 60 ml to get alk up to 9.9 so I did it in one shot. I'm dosing around 60 ml a day.

So adjusted my times and everything is stable there, but don't know if that was too much. Not sure if I should keep it there or let it fall a bit.

 

Any one have any thoughts on my Plasma?

 

No Idea.... thats the main problem Im having too with some of my sps

 

no thoughts on the plasma, but the FTS looks really nice. you got great growth

I did some cleaning and did some trading so when I get stuff set I'll have to take a new one.

 

I dont know , but based on my limited experience thus far
I believe increasing Alk by over 1 degree in 24 hours to generally be advised against
thus coming up from 8.7 - 9.9 in a single go may have produced the Alk burn tips that Zach mentions

its a shame as its a lovely coral
the new frags are cool also
