    Grinder reporting for duty!

    Power is back! 4 days,thank goodness for my battery powered air pump,manual agitation and prime,it looks to have saved my tank!All but my leopard wrasse is accounted for and I seen her yesterday,so I figure she's just hiding it out.Corals are all pissed but alive.

    Can't stay on but a minute but thanks alot for the concern,we're fine but did take med/heavy damage,lost power,landline and cell towers and my power literally just came on like 15 min ago so I got alot of stuff to get done.

    And Cosmo,i'll be pm'ing ya bro to get things worked back out here later tonight no later than tomorrow.;)

    AWESOME, no rush bro, glad your tank and fam made it threw this, And I know what ya mean, I have to fix my fence and help neighbors cut up and move some trees, running a chainsaw is a blast for about 30 minutes, then not so much, then it sucks.

    Thanks LG!

    I turned my actinics on for a bit yesterday evening and my leopard is out and cruising her turf (which is anywhere but near my watchman,lol),still fat and looks good.My corals all reacted to the light,so thats a good sign,i'll slowly acclimate them back to regulars hours as not to shock em.

    Now if dealing with my insurance adjuster will only be as easy as running a reef and handling two children for four days without power during a heatwave,i'll have it made. ;).

    Yup,the cuttin of wood and an excuse to have a couple bonfires with beverages,looking forward to.;)

    Listening to my adjuster telling me this ain't covered,that ain't covered.Not so much :-/

    yeah, just drove through Holland (Toledo) last night in a lightly hit area and it wasn't pretty. Drove through Delphos last sunday and that was really bad...
    Was just thinking we probably should invest in a small generator, enough for the tank, fridge, and chest freezer. Hoping i can talk my mom/dad into pitching in as they live next door... that way we can keep their frozen stuff goin too.

    That is most likely the best plan you could have..Like I said, I have not used mine as of yet(bought 4 years ago)..thankfully..BUT..Like my father always said..."Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it" 8)
