Hey guys. I had a pre-filter in my overflow and it started making a sucking sound so I pulled it out and cleaned it. While it was out the water was flowing heavier but had a nice toilet sound. Should I put a different pre filter in there or is there any other way? I have heard of sticking some airline tubing down there but I am not positive this would apply in my situation? Thanks.

Airline tubing - or even slightly thicker tubing will silence your overflow if you tune it just right.

Works for all 4 of my overflows.
