pre mixing saltwater

    so just a dumb question i was thinking of premixing saltwater and keeping it stored for water changes and top off would this be safe to do?:confused:

    Absolutely, yes. Just store it away from sunlight in a glass or plastic container.

    I always have mixed saltwater on hand. Incase I ever need an emergency water change. Keeps my temperature right on with my tank, and allows me to be sure the water is REALLY the right SG (I know multiple times I check shortly after mixing and it's one thing... then after it mixes for a while it's another...)

    Storing saltwater will be fine for water changes, but ALWAYS top-off with freshwater (RO/DI). Salt doesn't evaporate.
