Predator Tank

    I have a 40 gallon cube a little over a year old and i was wondering what type of fowlf predator tank i can make it. Which fish can i keep in here? Keep in mind its only 40 gallons

    umm...maybe a dwarf lionfish? juvenile grouper for a while but it would out grow it pretty quick IMO, maybe a puffer as long as it was a juvenile as well, but I have always been a fan of triggers and I think you would have success with these guys and I've always had some pretty hardy triggers

    I think that a Marine Betta Calloplesiops altivelis and a dwarf lionfish would be two interesting and attractive fish to have in a predator tank as they both remain relitivley small. The Marine Betta can be a shy eater so you would probably want to make sure the fish is eating well before introducing an agressive feeder like a trigger.

    A fuzzy dwarf lion fish and some variety of dwarf puffer (aka Toby) are what I have planned for my 40. The kids can't wait.
